To address potential line-of-sight obstructions—such as mountains blocking the path between a monitoring site and the control center—a cascaded transmission method is employed. For instance, if point A (the furthest monitoring site) and point C (the control center) are obstructed by a mountain at point B, the signal from point A is first transmitted to point B, aggregated with the signal from point B, and then relayed onward to point C.
